					<description><![CDATA[Roscoe was one of my very favorite male actors, from my earliest memories of a black man on television from the early 70’s. There were no great black male role models… Sidney, Roscoe… the few that I admired and that were portrayed as someone who would be that best male friend; that would not take any role and demean the man, the culture or the industry. 
Male actors could benefit from the positive qualities and integrity that was emulated throughout his career and lifetime.]]></description>
