Well before the credits of &quot;A New Hope&quot; rolled out, she said &quot;Well, clearly the bad guy IS the boy&#039;s father&quot;.
This could mean that either &quot;Empire Strikes Back&quot; launched a trope that had become trivial in twenty years, or that the idea was just the most straightforward in order to have a good story development, even if Lucas had not thought about it in the first place.]]></description>
