I believe that the closing credits to License to Kill also just said “James Bond will return.”

Also, I am rather glad the world is starting to move past the “women as props” mindset in movies. That post-credit sequence above is really awkward to watch.

“With the exception of Live & Let Die misstep, of course.”

In the original prints of Goldfinger, the credits said “James Bond Will Return in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” That changed when they couldn’t find good locations for the Switzerland locales of the book. They changed the next movie to “Thunderball” in subsequent prints.

With the exception of Live & Let Die misstep, of course. (And just “James Bond will Return” from A View to a Kill” on.

But I’m pretty sure you knew that.
