He was the first actor to portray Lucius Fox in “BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES” (a character added to Batman’s cast in 1979 but became far more popular and well known when Morgan Freeman started playing him in the Chris Nolan Bat-Trilogy). He also voiced villains in some of Hanna-Barbera’s better shows near the end of their pre-WB ownership era, such as Bloth in the cult fave “PIRATES OF DARK WATER” and Dark Kat in the other cult fave, “SWAT KATS: RADICAL SQUADRON.”

He played the part in the radio dramas that NPR produced of the original Star Wars trilogy. (And it might not need to be said, but he was really good in the role.)
