I don’t understand where the writers are going with this. I’m like a lot of people, I actually liked having John Corbett back. I felt like Carrie missed the boat on having a relationship with a guy that was healthier, but there was no need to completely dismiss her relationship with big which is why we were all invested in the first place. To say that Big was a “big mistake” is insulting to people who hung in there for six years. Just feels a little bit like they’re trying to shoehorn Carrie at 50 back into her 35 yo character. it doesn’t work. What would be better is to put her in Aiden together and have all the drama that comes with being a step-parent or a significant other of someone with kids. I don’t understand why the goal is for the writers and why they are trying to rewrite Carrie’s history?
