My friend, Marc Tyler Nobleman, the guy whose book about Bill Finger kickstarted a movement that ended with Finger getting a creator credit on Batman, who obviously has done a lot for comics as a whole, was caught up in a silly controversy last year involving the Texas Northside ISD canceling the 10th day of his regular talks about Bill Finger, all because he refused to cut out one use of the word “gay” from his presentation.
