Today, I explain when, exactly, Lamorne Morris asked out Nasim Pedrad on his podcast.

The whole “Lamorne Morris Morris asking Nasim Pedrad out during his podcast” thing is a great story, but the coverage keeps missing a key detail.
This is what I call “ouroboros linking,” where every article is just citing another article with is citing another article which is citing another article, and no one is doing any real reporting. It’s just rewriting the original article, and the original article here didn’t go into much depth.
For instance, they all have the quotes, but no one even says WHICH episode of the podcast the situation happened in, or WHEN in the podcast. So I’ll let you know.
It’s in the 506 episode of their New Girl rewatch podcast, The Mess Around Podcast. “Hot Girl Makes a Drink and Leaves | 506: Reagan” at the 17:05 minute point of the podcast, where Morris, after he and his co-host, Hannah Simone, discuss what makes a good romantic relationship, references his former co-star (and TV wife), Nasim Pedrad, and says, “I’ma go date Nasim. Where she at?”
Hannah tells him he should do it, that everyone thinks they’d make a good couple. He calls Pedrad up, and after he convinces Pedrad he’s legit asking her out, she agrees, and, well, we shall see what happens!
